MA Design for Sustainable Futures

I teach across all units on the MA Design for Sustainable Futures at London College of Communication, University of the Arts, London & have been a core part of the team since 2020.

I lead the unit Co-design for Sustainable Futures, where we focus on cultivating a creative practice that imagines pathways towards collective liberation. We invite students to learn from the vast archive of liberation movements and counter-cultures, while creating space for imagination and embodied practice through somatics and performance.

In the past, I have partnered with organisations like SOFTER Digital Futures, 56A Infoshop, London Freedom Seedbank and InHouse Records

Autonomous Syllabus
In 2023, I developed an open-access version of our curriculum, the Autonomous Syllabus (currently being refurbed) where we catalogue all our learning materials and resources, and are in the process of developing a living archive of past student projects.

We were invited to present the Syllabus at the GLAD HE conference at Ulster University in September 2024.

PG Cert Academic Practice
I completed my PG Cert in Academic Practice in 2025. My research was inspired by Audre Lorde’s text Uses of the Erotic, drawing on feminist and anti-oppressive traditions to support students and teachers in centering authenticity and self-knowledge as a foundation for creative practice.

My proposal, The Erotic Commons, brings together esoteric and better known practices that humans have used throughout time to connect to themselves and each other. These include things like deep listening, laughter workshops, clowning, somatic work, sigil magick and many more. You can read about it on my blog. Please email me for the password.
